Screw Machine

Semi automatic screw insertion and removal machine. The machine utilizes a high torque air motor with a push-to-start mechanism for screw removal / installation. The air motor is driven down to a set height using an air cylinder guided by two precision ground rods sliding in bronze flange sleeve bearings. The air cylinder can apply upwards of 100 lbs of force and is actuated by a foot pedal. The machine accommodates a large variety of fasteners.
